WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT ISLAM i.e

WERE WAS THE BIRTH OF ISLAM AND HOW IT COME TO MANKIND ???

WHAT WERE THE MESSAGES OF THE PROPHETS (PBUT) OF ALLAH (SWT) ???

I WILL LEAVE YOU WITH THESE 2 QUESTIONS AND INSHALLAH WILL ADD QUESTIONS WHEN I HAVE FOUND THE ANSWERS AM LOOKING FOR ???

I DONT KNOW THE ANSWERS MY SELF BUT I NEED HELP ???

THE FIRST THING THAT CAUGHT MY ATTENTION IN THIS GROUP WAS THE PROPHETS (PBUH) LAST SERMON.. WHICH WILL INSHALLAH GUIDE ME TO THE RIGHT PATH AMEEN..

The birth of Islam is always with Allah(SWT)and its completion came with Prophet Mohammad(SAW)

You already have the Quran and the Last Sermon to guide you and all true Prophets of Allah(SWT)GOD OF ABRAHAM had the same mandate, to free humanity from false gods and paganism as well as preventing the believers from falling back into paganism and elevating a man to God's position or as equal to God himself.

Our way is the same as it always was.

For me this group has worked as a driving force to learn more deeper about many things in Islam by reading and trying to understand The Quran. Seriously I wasn't like this as I'm now before joining and participating discussions in this group.

It's not that you'll always get 100% right informations about all the issues of religion because sometimes you'll get different opinions in the same issues from different persons. And this is the thing that works as driving force to try to learn it by oourself in details from Quran and hadeeth. Of course we get help from knowledgeable persons who can shows us where to look at and may Allah(SWT) give them mercy and made their life success in the way Islam ameen...

what can you teach me as I am a learner ???

Can we start from the beggining regards creation and would really appreci8 if more knowledgable brothers and sisters would take some consideration in this matter ...

first when i saw the topic, i was in hurry and said would reply later but then forgot:(

just wanted to share a small part of my history in this group.

i joined hi5 in February 2008. united muslim was the first group i joined. the reason for joining was cos of the topics i read when visiting it. however, when i saw the owner's name "the mehdi" i can say i really freaked out and abandoned hi5 as well for sometime. the reason was cos back then there were many groups who were brain washing young people to do bad in the name of islam. where i live has a rich history of these groups and if anyone has read my first posted topics, they would see i had mentioned some of them. there was also a group of people calling themselves as the mehdi in this regard. since i was not used to these social sites and net as a whole, i felt i was now trapped with it and am going to be taken as one of them (silly mind lol).

after about 2 or 3 weeks i came back and started to read again about the group, members and posts. i realized that i was completely an idiot to think this way. all those who were in the group had different backgrounds, different opinions and so for...they would discuss and share good and happy things showing respect. they did not just talk, they had reasons for saying what they said and tried to the others understand why they believed or thought this way rather than just fighting. this amazed me to a rather great extent. i started to ask questions and got answers as well. made great friends with some whom r still in touch with me and still helping me with my stupid questions i have in mind.

i wnt name those who helped me for two reasons, i am not sure how comfortable they would feel being named here. and second, cos they already know how they have helped me and how greatfull i am to them. and also another reason would be that they ddnt do it to be thanked by me, but they dd it to get satisfaction from Allah(SWT).


i believe that really this group was a cause for me to learn better about islam and life of people from many different places. it helped me to overcome many burdens of life after having talked with others and understood their worries as well.


this group is not like any other group in hi5 or any other place. i have special endless love for it and am all greatfull to all those who helped in making the group and preserving it as well.


so far we have had happy and sad times as well with each other but we learnt from all that we went through and may Allah help us be a cause for prevailing islam and following its teachings. becoming a role model for ourselves and others as well all for the sake of pleasing Allah (SWT).
